TLM’s footwear and insoles are specially designed by an orthotist to realign shifted joints, which could lead to better posture in the long run.

An orthotist cares for patients who require specialised mechanical devices, or orthoses, to support weakened or abnormal joints and limbs. Orthoses enable the body to move more easily, and can prevent or reduce pain. No medication, injections and surgery are required. Some forms of orthotic treatment include a brace, splint, and orthotic insoles or shoes.

Customised treatment TLM tailors an exclusive treatment plan based on each patient’s condition and body structure, and incorporates its unique design and the latest technology when making shoes and orthoses. It also recommends other medical braces for treatment when necessary.

If a patient feels comfortable after wearing a medical brace, splint or orthotic insoles or shoes for about 20 to 30 minutes, and an improvement in body structure and posture is noted, the treatment is deemed to be effective.

For some adults especially those aged above 40 years, treatment alters their foot structure, resulting in an increase or decrease in foot size — an indication of positive results.
