We lead the orthotics industry by creating bespoke non-invasive treatments using TLM’s orthotics technology.

TLM Orthotic Insoles and Footwear

Orthotics is a field within medicine that use medical devices such as braces and splints to support weak or damaged bones, joints, muscles etc.

An orthotic device, also known as an orthosis (plural: orthoses), is an externally applied medical device used for supporting, immobilizing, or treating muscles, joints, or skeletal parts which are weak, ineffective, deformed, or injured. In other words, an orthosis is fitted to the body to achieve one or more of the following goals: ​​

Knee braces, ankle braces, shoes inserts that can be purchased over the counter are some common orthoses we see and use in our everyday lives.
While cheaply available, most off-the-shelf orthoses cannot help those who are suffering from musculoskeletal conditions as they are not designed specifically for the patient.
At TLM, each orthosis, including TLM orthotic insoles and orthotic footwear, are medical devices that are produced at the centre and designed specifically for their wearer using TLM's orthotics technology. TLM orthotic insoles and orthotic footwear are used to treat more than 95% of our patients. These orthoses help the patient’s body finds its ideal balancing position and corrects body alignment back to how it was before deformation, thus improving patient’s body structure and posture. No medication, injection or surgery is needed.

We have also received feedbacks from patients showing improvements in other related illnesses such as diabetes, high blood pressure, varicose veins and swollen ankle during treatment.
TLM's Orthotist - Revolutionising Orthotics Treatment
An orthotist is a medical professional trained in the design and fitting of orthoses for patients. In order to design a suitable orthosis, an orthotist must have a solid understanding of how the whole body moves, as well as knowledge and experience working in relevant medical fields.
Mdm Li Ming, TLM's founder and chief orthotist, specialises in treating patients with foot pain, knee pain and back pain caused by musculoskeletal system conditions. She has more than 20 years of clinical experiences and worked in various hospitals and clinical departments such as Orthopaedics, Sports Medicine, Pain Management, Rehabilitation Medicine, Physiotherapy, Neurology and Hand Surgery.

Her experience working in these hospitals and departments led her to believe that the design of orthoses can be greatly improved so they can be used as a form of non-invasive medical treatment rather than be used simply for holding and supporting injured joints. ​

Therefore, to push the boundaries of the orthotics industry, Mdm Li Ming developed a unique orthotic insole and orthotic footwear treatment system for patients with musculoskeletal system conditions. Almost all patients see improvements after treatment and many recovered fully from their musculoskeletal system conditions.
