Tailored Made Support & Comfort
Are you starting to notice your feet hurting? It's time to take a close look at your shoes and consider if they are providing your feet with the support they need.
Each and every foot is unique, even your left foot is different from your right foot! Therefore, shoes that are mass manufactured are not always able to provide your feet with the support and cushioning they need. Without proper support and cushioning, your feet might be place under extra stress and may begin to hurt over time.
Therefore, you should consider switching from mass manufactured shoes to custom-made shoes which are made according to your feet's measurements.
Complexity of your Feet
Are custom-made shoes really necessary? Yes! If you consider the complexity of your feet.
The human foot is made up of 26 bones (bones in both feet combine to make up approximately a quarter of all the bones in our bodies), 33 joints, and more than a hundred muscles, ligaments, and tendons. In addition, there are about 8000 nerves in our feet. This makes our feet one of the most complex and intricate mechanical structures in our bodies.
The complexity and intricacies of our feet is what allows us to stand and walk on two, and perform all sorts of upright movements. The curved arches of our feet, in particular, allow them to support the weight of the body.

However, if even 1 bone of your foot does not receive the support it needs, foot and other musculoskeletal conditions can develop over time, causing pain and other discomfort. Therefore, shoes that are made according to measurements of your feet are absolutely necessary!
The TLM Difference
Here at TLM, we have an orthotist with more than 20 years of experience responsible for the design and crafting of your custom-made shoes. An orthotist is a medical specialist who makes medical braces to:
Support of correct musculoskeletal deformities
Support weakened joints
Control biomechanical alignment
Enchance or maintain mobility
Protect and support an injury
An orthotist has to understand the ins and outs of the feet and their relation to other parts of the body. Therefore, you can rest assured that the pair of shoes you receive are ones which are most suitable for you!
Place an Order for Your Health
According to Dr. David B. Agus, author of bestselling book, A Short Guide to a Long Life:
"inflammation has been linked to some of our most troubling degenerative diseases today, including heart disease, Alzheimer’s disease, cancer, autoimmune diseases, diabetes, and accelerated aging.
When you’re walking around barefoot or wearing uncomfortable shoes, you’re causing some unnecessary inflammation in your feet that can have an impact on your entire system. If the goal is to reduce your overall inflammation and take the load off your joints and lower back to further reduce inflammation, then I know no better, easier way to do this than to simply wear a pair of supportive and comfortable shoes daily."
This is something we have observed in our practice; our patients report that their chronic conditions improved after wearing our orthotic shoes and insoles.
TLM Customised shoes are for you if:
You have difficulty buying shoes because ready made models do not fit the shape of your feet.
You are starting to experience pain or other discomfort at your feet but do not observe any visible deformities (e.g. bunion)
